The hotel is so close to the airport so I didnt have to rush for an early morning flight. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Genuinely will talk to you and give you tips of where to go if you ask. The room is clean, bed is comfortable. ALWAYS choose a room with a window so you can enjoy the morning sun and watch as it rises (if weather permits). I didnt swim but looking at the swimming pool it looks spacious and clean.

Hotel Vega Prime totally exceeded my expectations! Returning from Raja Ampat, I chose this hotel just for an overnight stay before my flight the next morning. I have a feeling I may have been upgraded, but I was allowed to check-in early and my room was on the top floor, it was so spacious and comfortable, so I was very happy. They also generously allowed me to change the date of my stay by a day due to Garuda altering my flights. The pool was large and I was the only one there which was so nice! The restaurant was very large and nice, with lovely aquariums filled with koi fish on the terrace outside. Being a Friday night, there was a buffet dinner with a musical duo, so a nice return to civilisation after two weeks in Raja Ampat. All the staff were so lovely and helpful, and a special shout out to Ian and Bryan in the restaurant! I would definitely stay here again!

Nice comfortable hotel, where you can rest between flight & ferry. Especially important after ferry to get back to civilization. ))) The breakfast was variable & tasty. Rooms big & clean. We arrived at 9 am and the lady on reception was so nice that did early check-in with upgrade of the room for free. It's a big plus to her & hotel. Strongly recommend this hotel. I booked it again to spend some time on our way back home after returning from Misool trip.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Vega Prime Hotel! From the very beginning, the warm welcome from Mario and Clara made me feel right at home—they were amazing and set the tone for the entire visit. To my surprise, they even upgraded me to one of the best rooms in the hotel, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The room itself was spacious, beautifully kept, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were some of the comfiest I’ve ever slept on, and I really appreciated the complimentary touches like free coffee, water, and even creamer—it’s the little details that make a big difference. The pool area was so relaxing, a perfect spot to unwind, and the free breakfast was outstanding. There was so much variety: fresh omelets, donuts, croissants, juices, warm Indonesian dishes, and more. Everything was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. Overall, everything about my stay was perfect—from the amazing hospitality to the comfort and amenities. I highly recommend the Vega Prime Hotel and can’t wait to come back!

Hotel is great for a one night stay in Sorong, we got a free upgrade when we came to a room with window. We had dinner at the buffet and it was nice, we got to try a lot of Indonesia's food. Walking distance to the airport so you don't have to wake up too early.

Very spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds! The AC worked well which we greatly appreciated. The bathroom came equipped with hot water, shampoo, soap, toothbrush, comb, and shower cap. The laundry service was very reasonable and was completed the same day. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it looked well maintained and very refreshing. The breakfast provided had many options to suit all tastes. We would recommend Vega Prime to others.

Cosy traveller's nest in Sorong close to shops, a lively neighbourhood, and the airport. Well maintained rooms and facilities, squeek clean (if you might get a sense of mouldy air in the bathroom, please, consider this as absolute normal in this tropical climate with daily downpours), comfy bed, good water pressure for hot showers, superbe breakfast buffet, a gym and swimming pool to relax. Don't miss out their dinner buffets in the evening, very good quality and variety for an absolute reasonable price; several kinds of extra cold beer, red & white and some hard liquors available (of course at an extra price). On their menu, you also find Papeda (the Papuan signature dish). But what made my stay here special indeed was the lovely, professional and motivated staff, always with a bright smile on their face 😎 Thanks a million to Senia, Whitney, Ida, Santo and Audi in particular for a superbe comfy pleasure time indeed 🙏 To all future guests: Travel with an open heart and open mind for local Papuan people and Papua-loving Indonesian "overseas" staff, and you'll simply understand the magic of Papua 🤙

Location is great, super close to the airport, Indomaret, and ATM. The staff are so wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The food is very good I enjoyed my meals. The room was very comfortable. I like that they provided extra toothbrushes in the bathroom. I have stayed there twice and would stay there again.
